Gina Rodriguez won over the whole crew with her warm and expressive nature. The afternoon with The Zellner Brothers and Sydney Aguirre felt more like hanging out with a close-knit family than with two directors and their star. Rick Alverson's dry personality and awkward pauses feel like the perfect reflection of his filmmaking style. Michael Mohan was kind and kind of shy, yet he invited us into his condo and practiced his opening remarks on us. All in all, four very different and rewarding shoots.
